Found Femdom: Gucci and Objectifying

Thanks to Lilly for sending me this one.

I’m guessing they’re selling…Shoes?

Someone suggested that these Found Femdom images make me seem like I’m objectifying women. Funny since what turns me on about them is that the women are objectifying men. Does that mean I objectify women who objectify men?

I’d like to point out that for the pas few months every single one of the Found Femdom images I’ve posted have been emailed to me by women.

Ok that probably doesn’t let me out of the doghouse with many of you who think I’m kinda piggish for posting these. Any thoughts on how to even the score? Maybe a “Found malesub” feature?

Tell you what, if it makes you feel any better, objectify me all you want. There, are we even now?

I don’t care, as long as you keep posting them. I find them sometimes droll, sometimes objectifying, but almost always an amusing play on cultural stereotypes.

How is a “found femdom” feature different from a “found malesub” feature except in its naming and the fact that it sort-of-kind-of implies women are in the picture?

Also, I wonder why it’s you these people say are objectifying women instead of accusing that it’s the marketers and advertisers who are producing the pictures you’re posting for the sake of selling product.

Can we say sexist, children?

whenever anyone looks at, lusts for, a total stranger based on video/photo/etc, going by nothing but that which you see, are we not all guilty of objectification then in some way?

cuz when I look at photos of Kim Kardashian…lemme tell you I don’t give two shits about her as a person, I’m just drooling over her beauty and her body and thinking of all the dirty sexy things I wanna do to/with her.

Sex sells. Women are not the only ones shown as sex symbols in advertising.

We have eyes; therefore we look, we appreciate, we gaze, we covet. And yeah, in that process, sometimes we objectify too. Like Lilly said, aren’t we all the one who objectifies at one time or another?

I’ve heard schools of thought which posit that *most* submissive men have an objectified view toward the dominant women they interact with. When I used to work in phone sex, I came across many a “submissive” client who presented with a wholly distorted view of what a dominant woman represents. There were the guys who professed simply because I was a female, I deserved to be put on a pedestal and worshipped. That by virtue of her femaleness, a woman should be worshipped…and that goes for *all* women. That’s just ridiculous, if you ask me. And very sexist, if you think about it.

There were the clients who enjoyed being feminized to varying degrees…and those whose fetish was to emulate “woman-ness”. This definition of female almost always consisted of over-the-top, exaggerated representations of womanhood. Why was that, I always wondered? Do these men genuinely believe that in order to embody the feminine one has to wear 8 inch heels, frilly clothing, naughty lingerie, etc.? I always thought that said a lot more about what some men (submissive or not) really thought about women in general. And yeah, to me that seemed to be taking objectification to a whole other level.

And yet, I find a picture like the one in this post totally hot. Does it matter who is objectifying whom? It sometimes does simply come down to a matter of perception. And what we perceive is nothing more than a reflection of what we already desire or believe to be reality in our hearts and minds. No one is right or wrong.

Jeeezus, I should have just posted a reflection on my own damn blog! Sorry for getting carried away! As always, Axe, your posts are enlightening. =)

Whoa! I never looked at an advertisement in such depth before.

I just can’t see the whole object viewpoint of it though. I do however enjoy this newfound (to me) Femdom bit. Very entertaining!

It could be selling the suit it looks fantastic. There aren’t too many men that can carry off a white suit. So is it objectifying the man or the woman? It might depend upon the perspective of the viewer. I would rather like to have the man please.

>if it makes you feel any better, objectify me all you want.

Oh, yes indeed. A submissive boy- with the gorgeous hips and great arms in that Facebook picture? Not a problem. And you just keep on posting the found femdom- I quite like them, simply because it usually seems to be the interaction between the two people in the picture that triggers it as femdom for you, which I love (as opposed to just, “woman in latex! Must be femdom!” grrrr)

@Pagankinktress: Oh, say it TWICE. I am a wee bit genderqueer and not remotely interested in dressing up in femme drag for a sub to fetishize, and there is nothing like having a sub be all, “Oh, Goddess! I worship your femininity!” when I am right in front of him in my combat boots and butchy haircut to make me want to knee him in the balls. And not in the good way.

I have discovered that telling them to call me Sir does WONDERS at weeding out the bad ones.

Mmmmm…Gucci’s. Hot woman on hot man.
Objeti-wha? yeah, I took women’s studies 101.
over it.

I wish that the found femdom were more violent or threatening. Why can’t the heel be at his throat? He could look a little scared. As it is, this just makes me think of hour-long foot worship… YAWN!! (Also, I would say that she’s actually being objectified by him: he’s all enraptured by her foot/Gucci shoe and leg. She’s sitting on a lumpy six pack, making the sex face and not really getting anything out of it.)

Everyone with working eyes objectifies others. (I watched “Velvet Goldmine” twice before I knew it was about anything other than Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Ewan McGregor’s penis.) The key is being able to snap out of Hubbahubbaville and treat your object like a proper person, should you actually come into contact.

Well, the picture is clearly posed [duh]. Nice shoes, not really suitable for work or walking far [but then that’s the point!!]. Her eye make-up is a bit OTT and I don’t believe she’s wearing a bra.

Evidently, suggested [and probably fetishised] BDSM is the new black [GG].

I’d like to see more of the fella’s body [and I guess, so would hordes of gay guys, LOL].

Hey Axe. Personally, I enjoy the pictures. I hope you keep posting them.

What exactly is submissive about this man? He’s propping her up, steering her over himself, just about to spread her legs apart, with a look of bliss on his half-obscured face. She’s on top and that’s all people notice on the surface. Look closer. The whole focus of the photo is on her objectified body, in an uncomfortable position that accommodates the man’s pleasure. That’s what luxury fashion is all about after all. I don’t buy it.

I enjoy the Found Fem Domme pictures. I added you on Flickr.

Thanks for your support, i need some time to think about this. Are there any forums that you recommend I join ?
