The Sounds Of Torture

Wanna torture your sub with music?

According to Mother Jones, this comes from a leaked interrogation log from the American military.

“….to induce sleep deprivation, “prolong capture shock,” disorient detainees during interrogations—and also drown out screams.

Some of my favorites on this list?

The Barney Song

The Meow Mix commercial.

Matchbox 20 (actually couldn’t anything by Matchbox 20 be used?).

I may be a masochist, but even I can’t stand to listen to this entire thing.

Oh man, I love Stayin’ Alive by the Bee Gees! I can’t listen to the radio cut anymore, though. It has to be the 6:51 extended mix. I’ve been known to put it on repeat just to stay in a great mood.

Course, I also love the 10:50 extended mix of Disco Inferno (The Trammps).

I swear, my music preferences are in no way related to my sadism.
